Lochergut – Ein Portrait

The book Lochergut – A Portrait presents the history of the urban housing development from several different perspectives. Texts by Prof. Dr. Christian Schmid and Prof. Markus Peter respectively place the building in a sociological and an urban planning/architectural context. 16 interviews with residents and experts discuss events that occurred inside and around the Lochergut estate, providing insight into everyday life in the high-rise development. Competition entries, architectural sketches and documents from the City Archive combine to produce a comprehensive publication that has been lacking to date and is long overdue.
